In 2013, Hyundai of Brenham became the first Hyundai dealership to earn Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification.

This coveted accolade was bestowed by the U.S. Green Building Council as acknowledgment for use of recycled building materials, on-site waste and water management, and utilization of renewable resources. After opening its doors to the new Hyundai of Brenham facility in June 2011, this honored certification was attained in July 2013.
